This is our quintessential Floor Mirror design; hand made from select hard woods. Choose between Red Oak, Maple, Mahogany or Cherry. This one here is a nice spalted maple. The finely finished frames are lap jointed and fastened with countersunk architectural furniture connections. The extended frames are solid and confident and thoughtfully engage with the surrounding space while lifting the mirror up off the floor for easy cleaning behind. The mirror itself is 1/4 inch thick with an attractive 1 inch bevel at all sides and 1 inch radius corners to fit within a recessed notch in the back of the frame. These are meant to lean against the wall but can be wall mounted vertically or horizontally if the wall is strucrurally reinforced to support the mirror's nearly 90 pound weight.

  • All dimensions are approximate; timbers used are nominally 3x4 to 4x5. Due to the nature of the reclaimed wood there will be inconsistencies or as we like to call it, character, with the material; not excluding old nail marks, chips, knots, splinters & slight dimensional variation along the length & width of the members. Of course, we will do our best to match members up as closely as possible. Please note this is not a child-friendly piece of furniture as careless encounters with the wood may result in splinters. Our current stock is naturally weathered to a greyish patina; send us a message if you would like a sample.
