For those of you who spoke to us about our Outer Borough Floor Lamp at ICFF: We are in the process of getting a UL safety certification and are now pre-steam bending the wooden arms to shape rather than cold bending the wood which was prone to fracture.

The Outer Borough Lamp (OBL) will be the next generation designer floor lamp; It's time for a new Icon.

​

Cast from high-strength fiber reinforced, hardened and polished concrete, the OBL is a modular base design that holds two curving arms which merge into a vierendeel truss to reinforce its shape and support a modular pendant that plugs into the base. The arms can be either steel or red oak to match the top & back face plates on the base. The base of the OBL has adjustable feet and weighs 64 pounds for convenient shipping. The OBL will, for now, be for interior dry-area use only.
